County Lines. It is a real issue happening across our communities and affects our young people and their families, friends and their futures. Youth Shedz is passionate about doing what we can to help influence our young people for good. With that in mind, we came up with County Lines for Good - taking young people across our counties to meet others and try some new experiences, so they can help and learn from other young people. We hear the saying "Young People are easily led", so we say, let's easily lead them.

Thanks to support and PACT funding from North Wales Police, we are developing a virtual experience to enable our young people to really step into the world that can surround County Lines, which includes knife crime and substance misuse, and so much more.

 

We also know that by offering our 1-2-1 space to chat about stuff whilst engaging in activities like fishing, golf or upcycling, we can build relationships, model prosocial behaviour, and begin to help youngsters navigate different choices.
